COLUMBUS, Neb. – With the help of sophomore Danica Badura, the Aurora Huskies took 1st place at the Lakeview Invite on Thursday.
Badura, who took 7th in Class B last season, shot an 81 on 18 holes on a beautiful day at Quail Run Golf Course. The Lady Huskies had three players finish in the top 10.
Scotus finished third place as a team off the heels of Kaitlyn Enderlin, who shot a 91, good for silver in the tournament. Mackenzie Enderlin shot a 102 for 12th place.
Boone Central/Newman Grove’s Abby Broderson took 3rd, shooting a 93 on the day.
Lincoln Christian had two girls finish in the top 5 and took 2nd as a team.
Lakeview’s Gracie Borer was the 6th place finisher with a 96.
West-Point Beemer’s Maddie Erb finished 7th, Alice McDonald of Aurora was 8th, Georgia White of Fremont Bergan was 9th and Aurora’s Vanessa Wergen was 10th.
Shelby-Rising City’s Rylee Branting shot a 102 and took 11th.
