FIRTH, Neb. – Columbus High improved to 4-0 after taking down Norris on Friday night.

CHS took down Norris 35-21 in Firth off from a strong running attack from Michael Koch and Caleb Esch.

Koch had another excellent night, running for 152 yards and going 9-12 with 152 yards passing. Esch ran for 127 yards on 22 carries.

Koch scored twice on the ground and threw two touchdown, one to Esch and the other to David Arcos. Esch scored another touchdown on the ground to begin the Discoverer scoring.

CHS never trailed in the contest, but held a 21-14 lead into halftime. After half, Norris never for closer than a seven-point deficit.

The Discoverers out gained Norris 461 to 212, with 309 yards gained on the ground. CHS also owned time of possession, holding the ball for 46:53, opposed to 16:26 from the Titans.
