The family of two Iowa police officers killed is suing a business. Details here.

Des Moines, IA—The families of two Iowa police officers, Carlos Puentes-Morales and Susan Farrell, believe a drunk driver isn’t the only one to blame for the officers’ violent deaths.

Morales and Farrell were killed last March in a fiery head-on crash with a car driven by 25-year-old Benjamin Beary.

According to court records, Beary—who also died—was drunk before he left the Keg Stand bar in Des Moines.

The officers’ families are suing the bar.
