Willard V. Moeller
Funeral services for Willard V. Moeller, age 86 of Bloomfield, Nebraska, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. Reverend Tim Koester will officiate, with burial in the Bloomfield City Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Church in Bloomfield.
Brockhaus Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
Willard died Friday, August 1, 2014, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, Nebraska.
Willard Moeller, son of John and Nancy (Schroeder) Moeller, was born October 16, 1927, at Lindy, Nebraska. Willard attended the Tewsville country school north of Lindy, near the family home. Willard was married to Norma Schaller, and they were blessed with two children: Tracie and Matthew.
Willard worked at Bereuter Chevrolet garage in Bloomfield, Nebraska, prior to serving in the United States Army during the Korean War. After serving his country, Willard returned to the Bloomfield community where he farmed. Willard and Norma continued to live on the farm place west of Bloomfield, renting the farm ground out until 2013.
Willard was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Bloomfield. He died Friday, August 1, 2014, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, Nebraska, attaining the age of 86 years, nine months, and 16 days.
Willard is survived by his wife, Norma Moeller of Neligh, Nebraska; son, Matt (wife Tammy) Moeller of Madison, Nebraska; daughter, Tracie Moeller of Yankton, South Dakota; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mary Jane Carter of Tucson, Arizona, Mervin Moeller of Taylors, South Carolina, and Thelma Wesseln of Anaheim, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ralph, Howard, and Elmer Moeller; and sister, Erma Kreitzinger.
