What's cookin' Northeast Nebraska? I'd love you to share the recipe. I've loved to mess around in the kitchen since my Grandma Richard taught me to make French bread while growing up in southeast Iowa. Who knew that I'd ever get to mix cooking and radio together?
I started on the air at KILJ AM & FM in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa when I was 15. That same year I went to the World Wide College of Auctioneering where I learned to talk fast some say I haven't stopped doing that since. I went to college in Goshen, Indiana and after college met Mike Flood while we were both working for B100 in South Bend. Mike convinced me Nebraska was paradise and I moved here in 2000 to help start US 92!
Since then, I've found my wonderful husband Jeremy, who grew up in Lindsay and we have a pretty cute little girl that makes our lives all the more fun. When I'm not in the kitchen at the radio station, I love taking pictures, reading, spending time with my family.
