FREMONT – Hanna:Keelan Associates P.C. held a housing study listening session earlier this summer in Fremont and they will be doing the same in North Bend.
Hanna:Keelan Associates is a community planning and research consulting firm based out of Lincoln. They have been conducting a study funded with a housing grant provided by the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority, with additional funds from public and non-profit entities, to determine housing needs in Dodge County.
A housing study listening session will be held in North Bend on Wednesday, Aug. 9, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Bend Golf Course. Hanna:Keelan Associates will also be meeting with some of the non-profit groups in Dodge County on the same day from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Those who attend this listening session are encouraged to provide their input about the current and future housing needs and wants in Dodge County.
Any input that is provided will be greatly appreciated because it will help local, both public and private non-profit organizations and the Greater Fremont Development Council in completing this study.
Other communities in Dodge County were invited to participate in a housing study listening session but either declined or did not respond.
