FREMONT – The Nebraska National Guard is inviting residents of the Fremont community to a concert at Fremont High School.
The 43rd Army Band will perform a concert at the Fremont High School Auditorium on December 3rd. It’s open to the public, and no tickets are required to attend. Sgt. Colleen Jeffrey with the 43rd Army Band says they usually host a concert for Veteran’s Day, but this year they are doing something a little different. She adds they perform concerts like this to give back to the community.
“We’re doing a holiday concert. It’s to give back to the community, and also to promote the military,” said Sgt. Jeffrey. “We use it as a recruiting tool. And again, we like to give back to the community.”
The Holiday Concert will feature classic holiday songs, and will also include a sing-a-long. It is a fun event the whole family can enjoy. The 43rd Army Band’s Holiday Concert will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 3rd at the Fremont High School Auditorium, located at 1750 N. Lincoln Avenue.
