All Ages Welcome To Ponca State Park For Educational Activities, Day Of Fun

WAYNE – Make plans to get outdoors for a spring day of fun, educational activities and more Saturday, April 22 at Ponca State Park.

From 9 – 11 a.m. there will be an introductory archery course with all equipment provided. Participants must be at least 5 years of age as you can meet and pay $1 for six arrows at the Eric Wiebe Shooting Complex.

At 11:30 a.m., Critter Corner will introduce guests to wildlife found along the Missouri River. Meet at the Resource and Education Center for this free event.

The beginning fishing clinic is also free from the Resource and Education Center. Plan on meeting from 2-4 p.m. as the clinic will feature demonstrations on casting and instruction on fish identification and tying knots. Fishing poles and bait will be provided.

A park permit is required of each vehicle entering the park.
