FREMONT – Archbishop Bergan Catholic High School held their 2017 Homecoming festivities last week.
The school’s activities contained dress themes for each day of the week, such as Bergan spirit day, Noah’s Ark, and hippie apparel. There were also pep rallies for the students on Tuesday and Thursday.
The Homecoming Football game against Logan View kicked off at 7 p.m. at Heedum Field. During halftime, the Cheerleading and Dance teams took to the field for a performance, and the Homecoming King and Queen candidates were introduced to crowd as they walked the field with their parents. The Bergan Knights took the victory with a close score of 12-7.
The Coronation for the Homecoming royalty was held before the dance on Saturday night. The candidates for queen were Ali Dykman, Tessa Kreikemeier, and Mackenzie Peitzmeier, and the candidates for king were Kolby Boggs, Nick Burger, and Dylan Kucera. The 2017 Homecoming King and Queen were Dylan Kucera and Tessa Kreikemeier. The students gathered for class pictures before kicking off the traditional Homecoming dance.
