STANTON — Two Norfolk residents are fortunate to have avoided serious injury after an accident in Stanton County on Monday afternoon.
Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says authorities responded to an accident between a car and a semi at the Highway 275 and Highway 57 junction around 3:05 PM.
Unger says the driver of the car, 45-year-old Joyce Carr of Norfolk, and the passenger, 46-year-old Urban Carr, were treated at the scene by Stanton Rescue. Seat belts were used by all parties and were credited with preventing serious injuries. The car was a total loss.
