JR Moss has been the Director for about seven months. Prior to Wayne, he served as an Administrator in Iowa for over three years while also currently with the Navy Reserves for about four years. Many renovations have been taking place since the arrival of Moss and he said the intent is to make the rooms more home-like.
“The more like it’s someone’s home because it really,” said Moss. “It’s, for folks who live here, it’s their home. For people that are coming to stay with us short-term, we want it to be just like home.”
Some of the renovations include new flooring installed, painting and additional space added for private treatment rooms in the therapy areas.
There are approximately 55 employees at Careage Campus of Care.
“It takes skilled nursing, therapy, dietary, social services and just all of these different departments,” Moss added. “That work together with the goal of enhancing our residents lives as much as we possibly can.”
Following Chamber Coffee on Friday, there will be an Open House between 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Different areas of the building will be set up, for when on a tour, there will be information available about a particular service provided in that area.
