Catholic School Week is Everyday at Norfolk Catholic

NORFOLK, NE — Since 1974, Catholic schools all over the nation have been setting a week aside to embrace to further embrace their faith.

Norfolk Catholic is no different.

Principal Jeff Bellar says this is a special week to showcase and promote what the school can offer as well as helping others walk with Jesus.

All throughout the week, the school has had different activities for the kids. On Thursday, elementary students gather in the gym for an assembly where Father Jim Keiter talked to students.

Students also got to enjoy music by the Mikey Needelman Band.

Bellar says it’s also a great opportunity to strive to be a great school.

Continuing Catholic School week, on Friday kids will be able to have lunch at the school with their grandparents for grandparents day. The week will wrap up with an all school mass Friday afternoon.
