City Council to Discuss Bonds, Zoning Changes, and Voluntary Annexation at First 2018 Meeting

FREMONT – The Fremont City Council’s first 2018 meeting will be held on Tuesday night.

Items on their regular agenda include a bond discussion with John Trecek from Ameritas Investment Corp. and the quarterly report from the Greater Fremont Development Council, which will be presented by their Executive Director Garry Clark.

The board could also hear second readings for three petitions of voluntary annexation and two requests for zoning changes. The petitions come from Nebraska Irrigated Seeds, LLC, Nebraska Department of Transportation, and Connie & Paul Barron and Luanne & Gary Ehmcke. One of the zoning changes is in regards to the Fremont Memorial Complex. The other request is from Dodd Engineering & Surveying, LLC in relation to the proposed SunRidge Place development.

The Fremont City Council meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday following a study session at 6:45 p.m.
