WAYNE – Two main speakers will present during Wayne State College’s Communication Department annual event in Gardner Hall on the WSC campus.
Communication Day will be held Thursday, April 20 from Noon until 4 p.m. The afternoon will consist of a current student panel and a panel where business professionals will discuss how they stay “connected” with their consumers and the community.
The two main speakers include, Joe Whitt (WSC alum) and Dr. Em Griffin (former professor of 30 years at Wheaton College).
Whitt is also a world traveler and expert in intercultural communication who received his Master’s Degree at Colorado State. He has been accepted into multiple doctoral programs.
Griffin is a highly-respected communication scholar, author, volunteer and the President of Communication First.
Following the panels and speakers, there will be a “Mocktail” hour from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Gardner Auditorium where attendees may ask the speakers questions as well as enjoy great company while enjoying mocktails and appetizers.
Communication Day is a free event and anyone is welcome to attend. Make plans to join the Wayne State College Communication Department for the opportunity to network and “connect” through communication.
