Crete Woman Will Face Trial in Columbus Car Wash Burglary Cases

COLUMBUS – A Crete woman is headed for trial in Platte County for aiding and abetting burglaries back in 2016.

24-year-old April Fulmer appeared before Platte County District Court to be arraigned on Thursday, where she pled not guilty on two felony charges of aiding and abetting burglary and attempted burglary. The charges stem from incidents back in March and August of 2016, where Fulmer reportedly admitted to being with Dustin Fauth during burglaries at a Columbus car wash.  Fauth recently pled no contest on two counts of felony burglary and will be sentenced on February 17th at 10 a.m.

Fulmer’s bond was changed from 10 percent of $10,000 to a personal recognizance bond of $25,000 on Thursday. Fulmer is set to appear for a status hearing on March 22nd with the case set to go to trial on April 3rd. Fulmer could potentially face 1 year in prison with a $10,000 fine, up to 55 years in prison if convicted on both charges.
