Elkhorn Valley Museum to Host First Annual ‘Night at The Museum’

NORFOLK, NE — Three days left for you to get your tickets to the first of its kind event at the Elkhorn Valley Museum.

On April 27, the Elkhorn Valley Museum will taking a stroll down memory lane with their first annual A Night at the Museum fundraiser.

Museum Executive Director, Ryan Leichenhauer says, “It’s 1920s theme and were trying to keep it historically accurate and tied in with a lot of the ’20s artifacts here at the museum and some of the historical artifacts we found with prohibition and an illegal speakeasy here in Norfolk.”

Leichenhauer says that the Roaring ‘20s Speakeasy fundraiser will be a great opportunity for guest to see what the museum has been up to.

“It’s chance to see what the high school exhibit has done and what the museum is doing as well as funding our upcoming programs.”

All the funds will stay at the museum as it funds year round events and programs.

“The money will go to the museum’s educational programs. Year round we do different events such has the Halloween Haunted Verges Park and summer camp for kids. It’s all for the education programming the museum does for our community all year.”

Tickets are on sale until April 20 and can be purchased for $40 at the Elkhorn Valley Museum.
