First Of Two Dances For Wayne Elementary Students To Help Raise Money For School

WAYNE – For the fourth year, Wayne Elementary Boosters (WEB) will be hosting their annual Holiday Daughter Dance for elementary school girls in Wayne and their fathers and father-figures.

This year’s theme, “To the Moon and Back” will be held on Friday, December 8 from 7-8:30 p.m.

Tickets have been on sale throughout the week starting on December 4 from the elementary school for $5 in advance. Tickets will be $8 at the door.

Last year, over 300 people each attended the two dances for the girls and boys, raising over $10,000.

Along with dancing, desserts and a silent auction, there’ll be a photo booth for $5 along with Husker basketball tickets being raffled and more. Those who would like to donate an item to the silent auction, contact Sandy Brown at sandybro@live.com and for more details visit www.wayneweb.org.

Money raised will help sponsor activities and buy resources that support the educational growth and well-being of elementary students.

The Valentine Son Dance will be held on February 2, 2018 for Wayne Elementary boys and their mothers and mother-figures.
