NORFOLK, NE — A car full of active Madison County warrants resulted in four men being put behind bars.
Early Monday morning, a Norfolk Police officer recognized a driver, identified as Kentrell Monroe, who was driving on a suspended license. This was confirmed after conducting a traffic stop. He was arrested for driving under suspension.
During the traffic stop, one of the several occupants in the car verbally identified himself under a false name. He was shortly identified as 22-year old Damien R. Primus of Bellevue. In addition to his warrant for possession of a controlled substance he was arrested with criminal impersonation.
Next up was 24-year old Marquez Taylor of Battle Creek. His Madison County Warrant was for driving under the influence. He was arrested as well.
Lastly was 35-year old Ricky Jackson of Norfolk. His warrant was for terroristic threats, use of a firearm to commit a felony as well as burglary.
A Madison County Deputy assisting with the traffic stop immediately took Jackson and Taylor to the county jail. Monroe and Primus were both housed in Norfolk City Jail. Monroe was released on a cash bond and Primus later joined Jackson and Taylor in county jail.
