Fremont Man Involved in Area Thefts Pleads No-Contest

STANTON, NE — A Fremont man pled no-contest to a felony drug charge and carrying a concealed weapon Monday morning in Stanton County District Court.

40-year old Matthew Robinson was arrested back in January near Pilger after a traffic stop turned up missing trailers, linking Robinson to other thefts in area counties.

Robinson initially faced nine charges but had his weapon charges dropped.

He will appear back in Stanton County District Court in August for sentencing.
