NORFOLK, NE — Not an emergency, but need urgent care? Faith Regional Physician Services has you covered.
On Monday FRPS opened up their new Urgent Care Center, open seven days a week and offering the highest quality of care according to Nurse Practioner, Michelle Hammer.
“The urgent care here is going to bridge a much needed gap for the City of Norfolk in between your primary care services and emergency room services…”
With no need for an appointment, Hammer says there will be minimal wait time.
“There will be a provider at all times, but we will staff accordingly.”
Urgent Care offers a wide array of services such from strains and sprains to diagnostic services including x-rays and lab test.
Hammer says that an urgent care center is not a replacement for a primary care doctor or emergency department.
