BEATRICE – Bryan Cook, the Voice of the Orangemen and Lady Orange continues to recover at a Lincoln Hospital…and this Thursday, the Orangemen faithful is going to give back.
At their games on Thursday against Waverly, Beatrice High School will have a donation box to help Bryan and his family pay for his medical expenses. Bryan suffered a serious medical incident on Sunday evening as he was preparing to attend a Baseball Hall of Fame banquet and has been at Bryan LGH West Hospital since.
Beatrice Athletic Director Neal Randel says, “We also want to challenge the surrounding communities and schools to do something similar, since we know he has been a tireless promoter of kids and teams for them as well.”
The girls basketball game is set to begin at 5:45 p.m., with the boys game following. A special fund has been set up for Bryan and his family at any Pinnacle Bank Location. You can make a donation to the “Bryan Cook Medical Fund”.
