Gage Area Growth Enterprise Director Earns Development Honor
Glennis McClure

BEATRICE – The Senior Development Coordinator for Gage Area Growth Enterprise has been recognized with a statewide award.

Glennis McClure was named the Rural Enterprise Assistance Program “2016 Friend of the Year”.  The award is given by The Center for Rural Affairs, and was presented last Thursday at a ceremony in York.

Center For Rural Affairs Director Jeff Reynolds says McClure is a long-time friend of the REAP program, and served as the first REAP Women’s Business Center Director in 2001…becoming co-director in 2004.   Reynolds says McClure is a constant source of referrals to the REAP program.

The award is presented annually to an individual, organization or institution providing invaluable service to entrepreneurs, by assisting REAP staff with technical assistance, business training, loans and networking in rural Nebraska.

McClure is one of two executive staff members of NGage, along with Executive Director Walker Zulkoski.
