Hear Nebraska Brings Local Musicians to Hebron

HEBRON – Roosevelt Park was filled with people of all ages on Friday night in Hebron, as Hear Nebraska made their first stop on their 2017 Good Living Tour.

Executive Director of Hear Nebraska, Andrew Norman, says, “A lot of Greater Nebraska is getting older and we need to figure out ways to attract and retain young people. So we think doing things like this, putting original music in the park that features genres that they just don’t get to hear live is a really good thing for kids. We also have something for everybody on the bill, so if you kind of look around, you’ll see people of all ages – kids to older folks. Yeah, I think it’s a really good thing for the community at large.”

Hear Nebraska has a team of journalists and videographers that travel around to get local, meaningful stories throughout the state.

The Hebron Chamber of Commerce also hosted a variety of activities from a blacksmith to a painted chair auction.

Friday night’s band lineup featured Belles & Whistles, Mad Dog and the 20/20s, Bokr Tov and 7 Days Sober (from Hebron).
