Incumbents, New Filers Accepted In Wayne County

WAYNE – With just over a month until the incumbent filing deadline for the 2018 Primary Election, several individuals have filed in Wayne County.

Information has been sent in as early as December and recently on Thursday.

In early December, incumbent filers were Jason Dwinell of Winside filed as a Republican candidate for county sheriff and Debra K. Allemann-Dannelly of Wayne filed as a Republican candidate for clerk of district court.

A new filer was Amy K. Miller of Wayne filed as a Republican candidate for county attorney.

As recently as Thursday, incumbent filers were accepted from Dawn Duffy of Wayne as a Democrat candidate for county assessor, Debra Finn of Wayne as a Republican candidate for county clerk and James Rabe of Winside as a Republican candidate for county commissioner, District #3.

New filers include Pat Melena of Wayne for Wayne City Mayor and Tammy Paustian of Winside filed as a Republican candidate for county treasurer.

Again, the incumbent filing deadline for the 2018 Primary Election is February 15 while new filers have until March 1.
