FREMONT – A local business has reached its 100th year in business.
Koplin Auto Care was started by Hardy Koplin in 1917, and the family has continued to be part of the business. Koplin’s great-grandson Cory Zoucha is now the General Manager at Koplin. He says the one thing that’s never changed at Koplin is their values.
“My great-grandpa is who originally started it back in 1917,” said Zoucha. “We still have the same values that my grandpa and great-grandpa had way back then, of treating the customer right and giving the best service with the best warranty.”
To celebrate their 100th year, Koplin Auto Care is hosting a Customer Appreciation Event on Saturday. Zoucha says it will be an open house event, and they hope to show the community their appreciation and what Koplin has to offer.
“We’re just inviting people to kind of celebrate, and we’re having live music, food, drinks,” said Zoucha. “It’s an open house, and there’s going to be other vendors there, and other things of that nature. Trying to kinda help show the City of Fremont what we have to offer.”
Koplin Auto Care’s Customer Appreciation Event will begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday at 2075 E. 23rd Avenue. People interested in attending can RSVP on Koplin’s Facebook page.
