COLUMBUS – The National Weather Service’s latest forecast shows the Columbus and surrounding area getting anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of snow Tuesday evening into Wednesday.
The NWS says Columbus is currently scheduled to get 3 to 4 inches of snow with Albion now looking to get 4 to 6 inches. The heaviest amounts are expected to be from Neligh and Albion to Tekamah and Harlan, according to NWS.
Areas south of Columbus, including; David City, Rising City, Shelby, and Osceola could see 1 to 3 inches, according to NWS predictions.
The NWS says the axis could shift to the north or south slightly before hitting the area.
