Dancing, Santa & More To Be Seen During Night Of Lights 2017 In Laurel

LAUREL – Join the community of Laurel for their 2017 Night of Lights on Thursday, December 7 from 5 – 8 p.m.

Businesses plan on being open late for holiday shopping as several activities will also take place in town.

Start off the evening at 5:30 p.m. as Santa will hold the lighting of the downtown Christmas tree. Also, from 5:45 – 7:45 p.m. bring the kids along for pictures with Santa at the Laurel Plantation.

Other performances which are scheduled in the front of the City Auditorium include the Sugar Plum Dancers at 7:30 p.m. and the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge dancers at 7:45 p.m.

There’ll be a soup supper hosted by United Presbyterian at the City Auditorium along with Vendors as prizes and chamber bucks will be raffled off at 8 p.m. A canned food drive “Cram the Van” will be in front of the auditorium with donations benefiting the Backpack Program and Food Pantry.

Make sure to get your letters written to Santa, make ornaments and Christmas cards between 5 – 8 p.m at the City Office.
