Man Gets Tasered, Jailed After Resisting Arrested

COLUMBUS – A man was tasered and peppered sprayed after resisting arrest and trying to fight officers, say CPD.

Columbus Police Captain Todd Thalken says, a man was repeatedly honking his horn Monday night on 24th Street, just before 9:30 p.m.

Police responded and 38-year-old Alehandro Antunez, was tasered and pepper sprayed, after resisting arrest and fighting with the officers on scene.

Antunez faces charged for resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, and attempted assault of an officer, says Thalken.

Antunez was taken to the hospital before being jailed.
