FREMONT – A stolen boat was recovered over the weekend at the Fremont State Lakes Recreation area.

Fremont Police were called to the area at around 1:45 p.m. Saturday when a state game warden located the missing boat and trailer. Investigation determined the boat, a 14-foot Sea NYMPH Tiller Fishing boat and a 16-foot Shoreland(R) trailer were taken sometime on June 16 or June 17 and then found in the Fremont Lakes area. However, a 25 horsepower Mercury motor that was attached to the boat was removed and is still yet to be located. The boat is valued at $5,000 with the trailer valued at $2,000.
