FREMONT – A Nickerson man won a competition to grant him the title of “steak master.”
Danny Homan Jr., has worked for over five years at the LongHorn Steakhouse in Omaha at 3040 S. 143 Plaza.
Homan was named the regional champion of the restaurant’s grilling competition, along with being one in 59 employees from LongHorn Steakhouses across the country to receive the title “steak master.”
Homan was chosen by his restaurant to represent them in the Steak master Series, which is a competition where 5,000 members of LongHorn’s culinary team from all over the country participate in written tests and grill-offs, battling for the title of “steak master.”
The top seven contestants will head to the finals in Orlando, Florida, to compete later this month.
