NORFOLK, NE — Now is your time to stock up on library books, magazines and movies.
The Norfolk Public Library will be closed from Saturday, November 11 for three weeks, opening back up Thursday, November 30.
Norfolk Public Library Executive Director, Jessica Chamberlain has a few things she wants library-goers to know.
“They are welcome to come in this week and stock up for all their library needs for the next couple of weeks. Anything they check out this week won’t be due back until Saturday, December 2. We will reopen on Friday, December 1.”
The reason for the temporary closure is to move more than 75,000 books, furniture, and equipment into the new addition of the library.
During this time there will be no fines. Chamberlain says that patrons can still return items in the book drop in front of the library. eBooks and online magazines will still be available.
