Officers Discover Alcohol in a Vehicle with Four Fremont Men

FREMONT – Four Fremont men were cited after officers discovered alcoholic beverages in their vehicle.

According to Lt. Ed Watts with the Fremont Police Department, on Saturday at 9:35 p.m. officers were dispatched to the area of the 2400 block of N. Nye Avenue. It was reported that several males were sitting inside of a vehicle for a length of time with no apparent reason to be in the area. Witnesses said one of the men exited the car and urinated on the ground, and it was believed the men were drinking alcoholic beverages.

Responding officers located the vehicle in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the area. Contact was made with four males, two of which were under the age of 21. Alcoholic beverages were observed in the car, and all four males admitted they had been drinking.

As a result, Jose J. Ahumada age 20 of Fremont was cited for Possessing or Consuming an Open Alcoholic Container and Minor in Possession.

Joel Baltazar, a 39-year-old man from Fremont was cited for Possessing or Consuming an Open Alcoholic Container.

Juan Moran Hernandez, age 19 of Fremont was cited for Possessing or Consuming an Open Alcoholic Container.

And Juan J. Flores, 42 of Fremont, was cited for Possessing or Consuming an Open Alcoholic Container.
