One Injured After Hitting a Deer Saturday Night

STANTON, NE — One person was injured and taken to the hospital in a deer vs. car accident Saturday.

At one 11:00 p.m. the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle accident seven miles east of Norfolk on Highway 275.

31-year old Sha;Sandra Brown of Norfolk was driving eastbound when she hit a deer on the roadway. Seatbelts were not in use and airbags deployed. Brown was taken to Faith Regional Health Services by Stanton Rescue for treatment. A passenger in the car was not injured.
