Over $5,000 Raised During Wayne Elementary Boosters Yearly Valentine-Son Dance

WAYNE – The Wayne Elementary Boosters (WEB) hosted a “Pirate Adventure” at the Third annual Valentine Son Dance last Friday at the Wayne Elementary School.

WEB sold 294 tickets to the dance and the event raised nearly $5,200 to support activities, students, families and staff at school.

More than 90 businesses, organizations, parents and teachers donated auction items as over 40 parents donated food or time to help.

Second grader Cale Eischeid was the lucky winner of the raffle for Husker Basketball tickets, donated by Steve and Cindy Flaherty.
