Preliminary Hearing Waived in Child Pornography Case

STANTON, NE — A Woodland Park teen charged with child pornography had his case bound over to Stanton County District Court Tuesday morning.

18-year old Elliot Anderson, who faces two counts of child pornography, waived his rights to a preliminary hearing in Stanton County Court.

Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says that an investigation found Anderson to be in possession of illegal images and downloads of child pornography on his phone and computer.

Anderson’s family previously disputed to News Channel Nebraska the Sheriff’s Office assertion that Anderson was arrested. The family says Anderson is innocent.

If found guilty, Anderson could face up to four years in prison.

Anderson will make his next appearance in Stanton County District Court on November 6 at 9:00 a.m.
