Public Hearings, Interlocal Agreement, Tax Dollar Requests To Take Up Commissioners Meeting

WAYNE – The Wayne County Board of Commissioners will meet for the second time in the month of April during their regularly scheduled meeting.

From the Wayne County Courthouse meeting room at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 18, Commissioners will open the meeting to discuss potential increase in Wayne Rural Fire District Tax dollar request for ambulance services.

The first of two public hearings will open at 9:10 a.m. dealing with a Class C Retail Liquor License. Management of Logan Valley Golf Course in Wakefield has transferred from Loren Victor to Travis and Sarah Brikley and Randy Hassler. Action will need to be taken on the liquor license application of Hasbirk, LLC dba Logan Valley Golf Course.

Another public hearing will be held around 9:30 a.m. to receive public input on the proposed closing of 573rd Ave. The road is a county right-of-way totaling 66 feet in width and the section line is between sections 33 and 34, T26N, R3E, and from 853rd Road to South Logan Creek for an approximate distance of 1,110 feet.

Commissioners will also take action on the Interlocal Agreement with Thurston County for replacement of structure in Wayne and Thurston County.
