Resolutions To Be Adopted During County Commissioners Meeting

WAYNE – With the third Tuesday upon us, the Wayne County Board of Commissioners will hold their regularly scheduled meeting at 9 a.m.

From the Wayne County Courthouse meeting room, Highway Superintendent Mark Casey will bring to the boards attention results of the study on 573rd Ave. between 853rd and South Logan Creek.

Resolution Numbers 17-03 and 17-04 will be adopted.

17-03 is about setting a public hearing to vacate the road described at 573rd Avenue, a county road right-of-way 66’ on width, located on the section line between Sections 33 and 34 and from 853rd Road and South Logan Creek for an approximate distance of 1,110 feet. 17-04 is requesting a relaxation of standards from 50 mph to 30 mph for Project C-90(620).

Board members will also have a general discussion on wind energy and Jennifer Jackson from Heartland Counseling has a scheduled appointment around 9:30 a.m.
