SCHUYLER, Neb. – The Schuyler City Council the go-ahead to approve nearly $120,000 in funding for a total overhaul of three blocks of 7th St.
The council voted unanimously to approve over $119,075.25 in funding for the complete street and infrastructure overhaul of 7th St.
The city will be paving the street with concrete and reconstructing the storm and sanitary sewers, as well as the water line.
The project began in the late summer is expected to be completed in mid-November.
The money approved on Tuesday was the first payment the city will make to Gehring Construction & Ready-Mix Co for the project.
