OMAHA – The National Weather Service Office in Valley has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Butler and Seward Counties until 9:45 a.m. Monday morning.
At 8:56 a.m., radar indicated a severe thunderstorm near Ulysses moving north at 25 mph. This storm has the potential to include ping pong ball sized hail and winds in excess of 60 mph.
Locations impacted include David City, Bellwood, Rising City, Brainard, Dwight, Ulysses, Octavia, Bruno, Abie, Garrison and Surprise. This includes Highway 92 in Nebraska between mile markers 409 and 433.
The warning continues until 9:45 a.m. Monday.
