Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued for Wayne, Cuming, Thurston, Burt and Stanton Counties

WAYNE – The National Weather Service has issed a severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Burt, southeastern Wayne, Cuming, Thurston and eastern Stanton Counties until 9 p.m.

The NWS is tracking a line of storms extending from Wayne all the way down to Clarkson and moving northeast at 45 miles per hour.

Sixty mile per hour wind gusts are possible with this storm, which will affect a number of towns, including Wayne, West Point, Wakefield, Wisner, Pender, Walthill, Winnebago, Beemer, Bancroft, Pilger, Rosalie and Thurston.
