ALBION – A Nebraska state senator will be talking taxes with his constituents later this month.
Sen. Tom Briese of Albion is teaming with the Center for Rural Affairs for an open forum on the property tax debate on November 21st.
The 2nd-year senator says the meeting will mainly be focused on the impact of tax proposals on local schools, governments, and residents.
Rural Affairs officials said in a statement announcing the town hall that the event will be a chance to discuss the burden property taxes leave oin rural communities.
The town hall will be held at Cornerstone Bank in Albion at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 21.
