Suspects Sought in Attempted ATM Theft

NORTH BEND – Authorities are looking to identify two suspects involved in an attempted theft of an ATM from North Bend.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office released four photos from a surveillance camera recording from just after 2 a.m. on Saturday. The photos show two men trying to take an ATM from the Platte Valley Bank at 606 N. Main Street in North Bend. Their attempt was ultimately unsuccessful. It’s unclear if the ATM sustained any damage

Authorities located a stolen pickup that was believed to be involved in the incident, with that vehicle recovered just south of North Bend along Highway 79 in Saunders County on Monday afternoon.

One of the suspects is described as a male wearing a black and silver No. 38 Crooks and Castles hooded sweatshirt along with black pants, a mask, and gloves. The second suspect is seen as wearing a grey sweatshirt over a blue hoodie with dark colored pants, brown boots, and Mechanix gloves.
