Teen’s Lawyer Wants Psych Evaluation in Child Pornography Case

STANTON, NE — A Woodland Park teen charged with child pornography will have his case continued into next year.

Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger says that an investigation found 18-year old Elliot Anderson to be in possession of illegal images and downloads of child pornography on his phone and computer.

Anderson faces two counts of child pornography charges.

In Stanton County Court Monday, Anderson’s lawyer David W Jorgensen asked for a psychological evaluation for his client. Judge James Kube continued Anderson’s arraignment until the evaluation is complete.

Anderson’s family has told News Channel Nebraska that the teen is innocent.

If found guilty, Anderson could face up to four years in prison.

Anderson will appear for his arraignment on January 2 at 9:00 a.m.
