UNDATED – Some portions of Nebraska have already seen severe weather, while northeast Nebraska braces for it.
Supercell storms in Holt County prompted tornado warnings Tuesday evening, affecting the towns of Stuart and Newport. The tornadoes were radar indicated. There’s been no confirmation of anything touching down so far.
Meanwhile, the National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for all of Northeast Nebraska until 1 a.m. Wednesday.
