Two Days Of Painting For Adults With the Wayne Public Library Starts Tuesday

WAYNE – There are a couple of opportunities for adults to paint this week at the Wayne Public Library.

First, on Tuesday, August 8 join the library, located at 410 Pearl Street, for adult coloring at 6 p.m. sponsored by Pac N Save.

Then, moving into Wednesday, August 9 make plans to attend the Wayne Public Library for rock painting at 6 p.m. sponsored by Ameritas. The planned theme will be painting the rocks to hide on the campus of Wayne State College for new and returning students.

Just bring yourself as all supplies will be provided.

Also, announced earlier in August according to the Wayne Public Library Facebook page, Kathleen Johs was awarded the Adult Summer Reading Grand Prize of a Kindle Fire. Other weekly winners included Chris Fletcher, Betty Bothwell, Carol Wibben, Jeanne Brink, Jennifer Kesting and Virginia Backstrom.

An upcoming event is scheduled for Monday, August 21 as the Wayne Public Library will be hosting a Smartphone 1.5 class at 6 p.m. Make sure to bring all passwords for your cell phone.
