Two Local Organizations Partnering to Bring Awareness to Domestic Violence
News Channel Nebraska stopped by the Beatrice Humane Society during their May 2017 Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
BEATRICE – Two organizations plan on teaming up in the month of October to bring awareness to domestic violence.
The Beatrice Humane Society and Hope Crisis Center hopes to educate the public on the effects of domestic violence in a home, including the trauma and stress pets experience while living in the abusive atmosphere.
On Tuesday, October 24th the public is welcomed to the 5th Street section from Ella Street to Court Street from 4:00 p.m. through 7:00 p.m. to enjoy a popcorn stand, Julie’s Hotdogs and discounts at Gems and Junk Thrift Store.
