NORFOLK, NE — A March 2 search warrant resulted in the apprehension and arrest of a Norfolk man Monday.
Seized guns, drugs and stolen property is the reason 30-year Chadwick Board now sits behind jail bars.
Board was in Madison County Court Tuesday afternoon for a bond hearing after being charged with possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person and other weapons and drug charges.
Board was found in his home on 600 S. 7th Street a week after Madison County Deputies conducted the search.
According to the arrest affidavit, the search turned up 20 firearms, which included three sawed off shotguns, rifles and pistols. A large amount of ammunition and a silencer were also seized. Board is also a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms.
Stolen property was also recovered. That includes four motorcycles and an ATV, according to the affidavit.
Two women were at the residence at the time of the arrest. Mandy Board and Parris Jedlicka who were arrested for giving false statements to officers in regards to Boards location.
Three minor children were also inside the home at the time the search was conducted.
Board’s bond was raised to $250,000. His hearing is scheduled for March 20 at 1:00p.m.
