WAYNE – A yearly Wayne State College service-learning project will take place today and tomorrow in the City of Wayne.

Each year, WSC Service-Learning organizes the “Cram the Van” event. Dr. Todd Greene’s Sociology students collect items for the Wayne Community food pantry.

The effort is put on to support the National Week of Hunger and Homelessness awareness.

WSC students will be collecting items for donation at Shopko today, Wednesday, November 15 from Noon until 6 p.m. and again on Thursday, November 16 at Pac N Save from Noon until 6 p.m. Just go up to the van in each parking lot and open the door to drop off your items.

The donated items help contribute to a significant need to the Wayne Community food pantry.
