Wayne State College Warns Of Potential Scam

WAYNE – Reports of a potential scam have been made to Wayne State College.

In a press release, the college stated that they had been recently notified that an organization has been calling local residents claiming to be Wayne State College and trying to sell medical alert systems.

Wayne State is not selling any such item or service. The potential scammers are also spoofing, or masking their phone number with a number and extension from the college.
