Winter Weather Advisory Cancelled for Some Northeast Nebraska Counties

The National Weather Service has cancelled the winter weather advisory for Knox, Pierce, Cuming and Burt counties.

NORFOLK – A let up in snowfall has led to a cancellation of the Winter Weather Advisory in many affected counties this afternoon.

The National Weather Service has cancelled the winter weather advisory for Knox, Pierce, Cuming and Burt counties. The NWS says snowfall has diminished from heavy to light, and has even stopped in some places.

As of 1:45 p.m. this afternoon, the winter weather advisory remained in effect until 6 p.m. Monday for Wayne county. The NWS is continuing to forecast 2-5 inches of snow for Wayne and surrounding areas through this evening.
